Greek Mythology 101
What is Greek Mythology, and who were the 14 Major Gods (including the 12 Olympians) of these ancient beliefs?
In this class, students will have the chance of exploring all 14 Major Gods of Greek Mythology: Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Hestia, Hades, Hermes, Artemis, Apollo, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Dionysus, Athena, and Ares (not explicitly in this order).
Class Information
Please contact advertiser if interested in signing up. *Classes are only available for locally or personally-known families & students.
Format: We will be using Zoom. Please feel free to have your child sign in through any device available.
Upon signing up, you will receive all added information, including a link to class and more.
Age-Range: This class is designed for students age 7-12.
Cost: Classes are $5 per child, per class.
Our only current payment method is PayPal, and there are no refunds once the child has attended the class.
You will need to pre-pay (pay in advance), so we can keep an attendance log per class.
Dates: The following dates are when classes are currently available.
Class A Intro Lesson will begin: [N/A]
Class B Intro Lesson will begin: [N/A]
Including the Intro Lesson, there will be a total of 15 classes. Classes are weekly, same day and time. We will have two class times available on different days per week, teaching the same lesson (Class A and Class B).
Class A: Mondays, 4pm
Class B: Fridays, 4pm
Attendance:
Your child is not required to come to every class in this course in order to understand each lesson--However, we do recommend it!
Reminder that once the class begins, no refunds are available, and you must pre-pay before each class in order for your child to be accepted into class.
Disability: We want to make this a safe, inclusive classroom for all students and teachers. If your child has a disability, health condition, or related needs, that may impact them in our time together, please let us know when signing up. We are not professionals, but will do our best to provide an accessible and adequate lesson each week to your children.
(Additionally, May-may has disabilities, so she wants to make sure that all students feel welcome, included, and encouraged just the same.)
Privacy Policy, for Children and Parents: Please do not post/share about these classes. We ask this so that A) all children and teachers feel safe, and B) so that no information is accidentally or discreetly leaked. We have an Instagram which we will post safe content to (we will not post about/of your child without explicit permission first), and we will be managing what content is available to the public. These classes are only for local and personally-known individuals, as per safety of the teens leading & the children attending.
If you know anyone personally who is interested in their child(s) attending, please have them contact one of our advertisers.
